Hello there, I'm Travis Kersh. I started Crafty Lab Films to combine my passion for video storytelling with ideation and experimentation, otherwise known as the "Crafty!" phase, that starts almost any project.

I was always surrounded by cameras growing up. My dad would often lug around a giant VHS shoulder-mount camcorder to capture everything he could. We later graduated to smaller handheld cameras that became a frequent "toy" for my brother and me. From music videos shot in our rooms on Sunday afternoons to magic shows with their own commercial breaks, we filmed it all.

As we grew, so did our passion. Taking our "toys" and transforming them into tools. My brother took his thirst for knowledge and all things tech to grad school, where he was studying to become a neuroscientist (we’ve always had an affinity for Labs!). I, on the other hand, fell in love with computer tech and storytelling.

After losing my brother in 2007, the need to tell stories became even more prevalent in my life. I strive to capture every fleeting moment, to chase adventure, and to tell stories worth telling.

When you work with Crafty Lab Films, you'll be working directly with me, but I pull in the right folks at the right time depending on the project at hand.
