Hi, I'm Travis Kersh. I started Crafty Lab films to combine my passions of storytelling through video and the ideation & experimentation (Crafty!) phase that starts most any project.

I was always surrounded by cameras growing up. My dad would often lug around a giant VHS shoulder-mount camcorder and capture everything he could. We later graduated to one of the smaller handheld cameras that would become a frequent “toy” for my brother and I. From music videos shot in our rooms on Sunday afternoons to magic shows with their own commercial breaks, we filmed it all. As we grew, so did our passion. Taking our “toys” and transforming them into tools. My brother took his thirst for knowledge and all things tech to grad school with him where he was studying to become a neuroscientist (Hey, affinity for Labs!). I, on the other hand, fell in love with computer tech and storytelling.

After losing my brother in 2007 the need to tell stories became even more prevalent in my life. I strive to capture every fleeting moment, to take adventure, and to tell stories worth telling. When you work with Crafty Lab Films, you'll be working directly with me, but I like to pull in the right folks at the right time depending on the project at hand.
